What is First Night?

First Night is a theatre diary for people who love going to the theatre. Log the shows you've seen, remember who you went with, and discover what to see next.

Your diary doesn't start on the day you join: a show you saw fifteen years ago belongs in it just as much as the one you saw last night.

Alongside what you've seen, you keep the nights you're going to, the shows you'd like to see one day, and a feed of what the people you follow are watching.

Think of it as Letterboxd, but for theatre. The West End is the heart of it, and the catalogue is growing out from there towards the fringe, opera, dance and ballet. If a show you saw isn't in it yet, you can add it as you log it.

Who is it for?

Anyone who goes to the theatre. Whether you see one show a year or one a week, First Night helps you keep a record of what you've watched, share your thoughts, and find your next night out. If you've been going for years and never written any of it down, that's exactly what the diary is for.

What can you do?
