I had heard many good things about this show over the past few years so was really glad to have the opportunity to see it when it had it's final run in the West End. Rob Madge is so funny and likeable, and the story was very touching - its a real love letter to his family, particularly his dad, who never tried to make Madge anything other than who he is, and dived headfirst into all of his childhood theatrical escapades. The home videos were hilarious but also made me cry - the Madge family are very clearly exceptionally loving, supportive and accepting, and it was a beautiful celebration of family and how to bring a child up with so much love and joy for who they are.
