Very powerful and moving. Second half much better than the first. Not the best piece of narrative storytelling I've ever seen and feels like it gets through on emotion and ardent singing more than a well rounded and satisfying story. Some incredible singers on stage though with some very affecting songs, some performers definitely stronger singers than actors. A couple of dodgy welsh accents. Reminded me of rent mixed with london road or something. Overall a very moving evening but more song and feeling than a complete show. P.s. one incredibly annoying man in the audience who shouted out constantly when no-one else was. There was some lovely sentiment in the room but everyone around him telling him to shut up felt he took it a bit far.
