A really good premise and a well-constructed play, but this production just wasn't for me. I found both male performances broad and unconvincing, with frantic energy and volume often standing in for something more believable. It also felt stiflingly middle class, right down to an audience eager to laugh at every fairly obvious sex joke. There were a few genuinely funny moments, but overall I found it dull. Not badly written, just not a show, production or style of performance that felt made for me.
