The story

Tricked by the scheming vizier Jafar into fetching a lamp from the Cave of Wonders, Aladdin frees a wisecracking Genie and wishes himself into Prince Ali to court Jasmine, while Jafar plots to seize the lamp and the throne.
In the room
Familiar songs from the animated film, including Friend Like Me and A Whole New World, join restored and newly written numbers, with the Genie at the centre of the comedy.
