The play creates a stage portrait of Virginia Woolf through her own ideas, writing and inner contradictions. Drawing on her fiction and essays, it follows her thinking about women, literature and freedom while also allowing vulnerability to sit beside intellectual clarity, making the piece less a conventional life story than an encounter with the mind behind the work.
A literary solo piece shaped by Woolf’s prose and stream-of-consciousness writing, moving between argument, reflection and material drawn from several of her books and essays.
