A decade after disappearing from the Paris Opera House, the Phantom has built a new life around Phantasma, his strange Coney Island attraction, but still longs to hear Christine Daaé sing. Christine arrives in New York with Raoul and their son Gustave, drawing the former lovers back into a relationship shaped by obsession, resentment and secrets that have not stayed buried.
The score leans into sweeping romantic ballads and darker theatrical motifs, while the Coney Island setting adds vaudeville, sideshow imagery and early twentieth-century spectacle.
