The story
Carrie White is a teenage outsider who longs to fit in but is bullied at school and tightly controlled at home by her loving but cruel mother. As Carrie begins to understand her telekinetic power, the people around her continue to push and manipulate her, turning an ordinary struggle for acceptance into a supernatural threat.
