Cornley Amateur Drama Society takes on Dickens’s Christmas story with its usual inability to keep a production under control. Set delays, absent actors and an argument over who gets to play the lead turn the adaptation into another chain of theatrical disasters, while the company tries to reach the end of Scrooge’s story without destroying the show around it.
