Cinderella
A young woman is stuck cleaning a crumbling castle until fairy magic, glass slippers and a kingdom-wide deadline offer a possible way out.
First Night is a theatre diary for logging the shows you've seen and discovering what to see next.
Cinderella lives under the control of Suella and her misguided sisters, while elsewhere a moderately charming prince must find a wife before midnight or the whole kingdom is in trouble. A chance encounter and some fairy magic give Cinderella a route towards the ball, but getting there means navigating family chaos, royal panic and a ticking clock.
A comic panto version of the fairy tale, with songs, fairy magic, audience involvement and a deliberately playful take on Cinderella’s familiar midnight deadline.
fairy-tale comedy, panto participation, magical transformations and family shows with songs.
