FantasyRomance
The story

The musical places a small Appalachian community beside the supernatural world of witches and warlocks in the Smoky Mountains. Their two worlds come into conflict through witchcraft, prejudice, faith and a forbidden romance, making the divide between the human town and the mountains above it the central tension.

In the room

The score gives the two worlds distinct sounds: the human characters sing country and bluegrass, while the witches are associated with rock.

Good fit if you like

supernatural romance, Appalachian settings, clashes between faith and witchcraft and scores that contrast musical styles.
