The story

Diana tells her own wildly unreliable version of an extraordinary public life from beyond the grave. Rather than aiming for sober biography, the play treats the People’s Princess as the centre of an affectionate, deliberately ridiculous royal narrative, using invention and satire to play with the gap between a famous life and the stories told about it.

In the room

Drag, multimedia, puppetry and audience interaction shape a queer comic retelling that openly embraces exaggeration, theatrical playfulness and invented biography rather than historical realism.

Good fit if you like

royal satire, drag performance, multimedia comedy and deliberately unreliable biography.
