A half-mortal hero must discover what real strength means.
In Ancient Greece, Hercules is caught between the worlds of gods and mortals and longs to prove that he belongs. His chance comes when Hades threatens the world, but becoming a true hero demands more than physical power, especially once ambition, romance and the god of the underworld's schemes complicate his path.
Greek myth is filtered through broad comedy, heroic romance and a pop score led by the gospel-singing Muses, who narrate and comment on the action.
