The story

Tom Pringle, the science communicator who performs as Dr Bunhead and appeared on Sky One's Brainiac, made this family show from one demonstration after another. Household objects and plain explanations carry the science, as a run of messy, loud experiments involving custard, bananas and swamp creatures shows what is going on behind everyday things.

In the room

Bangs, mess and a great deal of noise, with children invited up to take part at almost every turn. It was billed for ages five and up.

Good fit if you like
