Eric and Ern
Familiar sketches, songs and routines return in a stage homage to the comedy of Morecambe and Wise.
First Night is a theatre diary for logging the shows you've seen and discovering what to see next.
The story
This comedy revisits some of Morecambe and Wise’s best-known material, drawing on the routines and musical moments that made their television partnership a fixture for family audiences. Rather than telling a biographical story, it is built around recreating the duo’s comic repertoire and the atmosphere associated with their Christmas specials.
In the room
A sketch-led mixture of comedy routines and songs, including material such as the Grieg piano concerto routine, Mr Memory and the famous Arsenal exchange.
Good fit if you like
classic British comedy, sketch shows, musical routines and affectionate recreations of television favourites.
