Flat and the Curves: Rosé Tinted

No ratings yet

Wilton's Music Hall · London · From 26 November

Three women look back on years of hangovers, hospital trips and one divorce, asking whether nostalgia has edited the messier parts out.

First Night is a theatre diary for logging the shows you've seen and discovering what to see next.

Comedy
The story

Flat & the Curves turn a catalogue of adult misadventures into a comedy cabaret about memory, ageing and the stories people tell about their supposedly best years. The trio look back over drinking, bad decisions and relationship fallout with enough hindsight to question whether the rosy version of the past bears much resemblance to what actually happened.

In the room

Original comic songs, big vocal harmonies and deliberately filthy humour give the show a cabaret structure rather than a conventional narrative plot.

Good fit if you like

comedy cabaret, original songs, big vocal harmonies and unsentimental jokes about adulthood.
