Emo kid Eliot grows up, leaves an unruly part of himself behind and later finds himself wanting that lost self back.
First Night is a theatre diary for logging the shows you've seen and discovering what to see next.
Eliot begins as an emo kid and grows into an adult who has lost touch with the goblin-like self that once mattered to him. The solo piece follows that transformation and the later desire to recover something that adulthood has pushed aside, using the idea of being seen as the thread connecting who Eliot was with who he has become.
A darkly comic solo performance with a coming-of-age shape, centred on identity, transformation and the urge to reclaim a discarded self.
