Hourglass
Charlie is starting to suspect she is a black widow spider, because every ex who breaks up with her, bar one, ends up dead.
First Night is a theatre diary for logging the shows you've seen and discovering what to see next.
The story
Alice Mayer's one-woman show follows Charlie, convinced that dating is turning her into something deadly, as she tries to make sense of what has happened to the people she has left behind. Pitched between horror and romantic comedy, it deals with guilt, sexual assault and death.
In the room
A darkly comic solo piece built from monologues, puppetry, music and original songs, with one performer carrying the whole story.
Good fit if you like
dark comedy, horror stories about dating and solo shows with songs and puppets.
