The story

Johnny “Rooster” Byron, an eccentric former daredevil, lives in a caravan in the Wiltshire woods and acts as a magnet for local young people. On St George’s Day, council officials are coming to evict him, his young son wants a trip to the fair, Troy Whitworth wants revenge, and his friends keep arriving for drugs and alcohol.
