Lucy presents a stripped-back variety show about loneliness, labour and the performance of connection. With no other performers beside her, she calls on audience members to become the friends she lacks, while each attempt to build community becomes more chaotic and emotionally charged.
A solo cabaret-style performance that mixes audience participation, failed spectacle and deliberate manipulation, using variety-show conventions to probe celebrity, narcissism and loneliness.
