The audience supplies the ingredients for a murder mystery, and an improv company turns them into a new whodunnit on the spot.
First Night is a theatre diary for logging the shows you've seen and discovering what to see next.
Degrees of Error create an original comic murder mystery at every performance using suggestions from the audience. Rather than revealing a pre-written culprit, the company builds the characters, clues and investigation live, effectively handing the audience part of the author's job while the cast tries to keep the mystery coherent.
The dialogue, plot, music, sound effects and lighting are improvised, with a live pianist joining the performers as each new mystery is assembled in real time.
