A lost bear from Peru needs a London home.
Paddington arrives in London alone, carrying a suitcase, a love of marmalade and the hope of finding somewhere to belong. The Brown family takes him into their Windsor Gardens home, where his curiosity causes comic mishaps and gradually changes the household. When a vengeful stranger targets him, the Browns must decide how far their new family truly extends.
The musical balances domestic comedy with a rescue adventure, using ensemble songs to follow Paddington's effect on the Browns and the wider neighbourhood.
