The story

Sam is applying for a physics PhD, caring for her new nephew and supporting her mother through chemotherapy when she meets Paul, an up-and-coming novelist, on a train. Their relationship gathers momentum through shared milestones, but questions of trust begin to alter its direction. Newton’s laws of motion become a framework for looking at the forces shaping their lives together.

In the room

A romantic comedy that shifts towards psychological thriller territory, using trains, movement and physics as recurring structures for a relationship gathering speed.

Good fit if you like
