Reuben Solo
A comedian arrives looking for whoever will betray him, then turns the audience into suspects, allies and co-conspirators.
First Night is a theatre diary for logging the shows you've seen and discovering what to see next.
Reuben Solo builds a live comedy thriller around the idea that someone in the crowd will betray him. Working directly with the audience, he creates a new narrative onstage each night as individual spectators are drawn into changing roles as suspects, allies, traitors and co-conspirators.
The story is constructed in real time from audience involvement, combining stand-up instincts with an improvised thriller framework rather than following a fixed narrative.
audience participation, improvised storytelling, comedy thrillers and shows that change from night to night.
