Sophie's Surprise Christmas Party
Sophie has lost her Christmas spirit, so an extravagant party and three rather unconventional ghosts are enlisted to bring it back.
First Night is a theatre diary for logging the shows you've seen and discovering what to see next.
The story
Sophie needs some festive cheer, and the proposed solution is a Christmas party that refuses to behave like an ordinary celebration. Each night, one audience member takes on Sophie's role as guest of honour, becoming the focus of a gathering filled with unusual seasonal visitors. The ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future are among those who arrive as the evening unfolds.
In the room
Circus acts, comedy and audience participation shape this Christmas party for over-16s. The performance combines festive characters with an energetic party atmosphere, and includes partial nudity.
Good fit if you like
circus performance, audience participation, irreverent Christmas comedy and unconventional festive parties.
