The story

A child’s train set magically comes alive and its engines compete to prove which is the fastest in the world. Rusty, a steam train with little expectation of winning, enters the contest and finds inspiration in the legend of the Starlight Express as he tries to believe he can compete with the other engines.

A fantasy musical built around personified trains and a high-stakes race, turning a child’s toy world into a contest of speed, confidence and belief.
