The story

Sunrise follows Jessie as she re-enters dating after a complicated break-up and tries to get her personal life into some kind of order around raising her children. Her stories range across sexual mishaps, social-media snooping, conventions and the practical demands of motherhood, turning private embarrassment and daily logistics into the material of the piece.

In the room

Confessional comedy and DIY performance art shape the show, with autobiographical storytelling moving between dating, parenting and the small humiliations of trying to keep life organised.

Good fit if you like

confessional comedy, autobiographical performance, messy dating stories and theatre about motherhood and everyday chaos.
