The story

Tammy Faye and Jim Bakker build a television ministry that broadcasts faith around the clock to millions of viewers. Tammy wants religion to feel joyful and accessible, but a rising generation of ministers is pushing faith beyond private belief and into homes, schools and the law, placing her version of Christianity against a changing political movement.
