The story
Peepolykus and Steven Canny's comic version of Arthur Conan Doyle's novel sends Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson to guard Sir Henry Baskerville, newly arrived from Canada to claim Baskerville Hall on Dartmoor after his uncle's mysterious death. On the bleak moor an escaped convict, suspicious servants and strange howls in the fog all seem to confirm the old family legend.
In the room
A spoof built on rapid costume changes, slapstick, low-tech fog and sound effects and deliberate theatrical breakdowns, with the actors stepping out of character and racing through a high-speed recap.
Good fit if you like
Sherlock Holmes, physical comedy, quick-change farce and shows that enjoy going wrong.
