The story

Tom is living with young onset dementia when memories from his past begin flooding back as he prepares for his 55th birthday party. The play follows the experience of a weakening memory from inside Tom’s perspective, focusing not simply on what is being lost but on the fragments of identity and experience that remain.

In the room

A non-verbal piece combining original live music with visual performance, using fragmented memory rather than conventional dialogue-led storytelling to enter Tom’s changing inner world.

Good fit if you like

non-verbal theatre, memory-led storytelling, live music and intimate studies of dementia.
