Waleed Akhtar’s play follows the parallel lives of two gay Pakistani men, each negotiating identity, desire and the possibility of a future. Their stories move alongside one another as romance and hope confront the pressures placed on them by the different worlds they inhabit and the choices available within them.
The drama uses two connected character journeys, balancing sharp humour with the vulnerability, danger and romantic possibility surrounding queer Pakistani lives.
