The Smartest Giant in Town
A newly smart giant gives away everything he wears.
First Night is a theatre diary for logging the shows you've seen and discovering what to see next.
The story
George is tired of being the scruffiest giant in town, so he buys a smart new outfit and sets off feeling transformed. Along the way he meets animals facing a series of practical problems, and one by one his new clothes become the unlikely solutions, leaving George to reconsider what really makes him feel good about himself.
In the room
The journey follows a repeating pattern of animal encounters, practical problems and increasingly inventive gifts, using songs and gentle comedy to build towards a warm tale of generosity.
Good fit if you like
helpful giants, animal encounters, repeated storytelling and tales about generosity.
