TragedyDrama

The story

This new work follows the Fates and six women of Greek myth, Klytemnestra, Helen, Iphigenia, Khrysothemis, Elektra and Kassandra, bound by blood, war and a curse. As the Fates try to understand the strange blue strings, the women face betrayal, murder and revenge, and the question of whether their lives are their own.

In the room

A surreal, physical retelling of a mythological epic in which three performers stay tied together at the wrists by long string throughout, making the restraints on women literal.

Good fit if you like

Greek myth retold from women's perspectives, physical theatre and stories of rage and revenge.
